Another beautiful day...

and another walk.  This time with Miriam.  We went by train from Norwich to Cromer and walked to Felbrigg Hall across fields and through a delightful tree lined tunnel.

At the Hall  I treated us to coffee and cake courtesy of Upton House another National Trust property, which sent me a gift token as a thank you for supplying some photographs for a forthcoming exhibition there...about which more in March 2015 I hope!

The old stables

We had a stroll round the walled garden and admired the colours, still glorious in the warm sunshine.  What a summer this has been!  Then we struck out across the fields again and made our way to the tiny station at Roughton where we ate our lunch on the deserted platform.  And so back to Norwich.
