A snake came to my air conditioning unit
On a hot, hot day, and I in pyjamas for the heat,
To drink there.
With apologies to DH Lawrence (who deserves better) but it was a snake! Got into the unit and shorted something...poor snake, and poor me. But all is well now and I am COOL!
I can't say, like DHL, that I felt
honoured still more
That he should seek my hospitality
From out the dark door of the secret earth.
