We went to a flea market on Sunday. Three long sheds of little stalls selling a variety of second hand stuff (including guns). Got two little checked shirts for grandson no. 1 and Peter bought some roasted peanuts which weren't cheap and turned out to be not the freshest either! Oh well! My eye was caught though by the fresh food stall, but we didn't buy any cactus on the grounds that I didn't know what to do with it, but it looked fresh!
Thank you google...apparently you grill the cactus, leave it overnight in the fridge and then chop it up into a salad...
I think the man behind the counter was busy removing the spines.
