The rest of the holiday...

Back in Norwich on the Friday after Christmas and just in time to stock the fridge and get organised for the arrival of Simon, Eliot, Nancy and the two grandsons Abe and Saul and Rupert.    Almost the full complement...minus Tania who had an MA assignment looming.

We had a busy and enjoyable time which included:
  • A very good bottle of wine curtesy of Harrison Ford (long story!)
  • A trip to Horsey Gap on the North Norfolk coast to see the seals and their pups (half of Norfolk had the same idea!)
  • Trips into the city for minor sales activity (but not me...I've foresworn clothes shopping for a while!)
  • Trips to the park
  • Reading stories, throwing logs on the fire and completely filling several recycling boxes!

Signs of family invasion!

Nothing like a good wrestle in the middle of the hall

The Brothers Grimm!

One minute he's a dashing knight...

Saul
...then he's a fire fighter! Eliot looking on.

A lot of eating...

What's this?
Peace!

Not forgetting drinks at Ros and Brians and a great New Year's Eve party at Keith and Nicky's.

Now we are in the KLM lounge at Amsterdam waiting for a delayed flight to Houston...an ideal time to catch up with the blog!

It's been a whirlwind two weeks at home...exhausting, but worth it to see everyone and catch up.
